Summer Nights

Mixed up my greens for the tree.
 
Auburn became reds instead as reds will become auburn after some good length of sun. 

A couple of bright blues with which to strike a note. 

I like to let my colors mix right down on low slow so while I wait for the palette to condense I make a new dress for Wood #1.  

I don't feel like I've given Wood #1 proper respect. Perhaps I have not paid it proper attention.

I am really amazed at the depth it's gained as it's colors have washed away and rooted in. 

Good things often come about if no one is looking.

Laid down all the colour onto Tree. Tree has been bowing and cracking in the middle. Peeling apart. Lengthening it's spine. 

Stretching & growing up & out.

The wax moves in different directions each time I look to see where sun moves.
